SCARC Regular Club Meetings:
The Shelby County Amateur Radio Club (SCARC) holds Club meetings at 7:00 PM on the Second and Fourth Thursdays of each month at the American Red Cross offices, on Valleydale Road just EAST of the I-65 OVERPASS. The address is: 4524 Southlake Parkway - Suite #5 - Hoover/Pelham, AL 35244. Talk-In is on 146.980 MHz [NO Tone] - Visitors are Always Welcome. BARC/SCARC Volunteer Exam Sessions:
The Birmingham ARC and Shelby County ARC are both currently holding Volunteer Examination Sessions here on the First Sunday of each month from 2:00 PM to about 4:30 PM. The two clubs alternate months so that you may come by on ANY First Sunday for testing. Many resources are available on our Examination Candidate Resources page including a link to the Interactive NCVEC Form 605 you may download & complete.
